In the first Trainee Talks webinar of 2023, Pierre-Olivier Côté, a Master's student at Polytechnique Montréal spoke about Quality Issues in Machine Learning Software Systems. Immediately following, University of Alberta PhD student Akalanka Galappaththi presented his work on “A Data Set of Generalizable Python Code Change Patterns”.

In the May 28, 2024 edition edition of CREATE SE4AI Trainee Talks, we heard from Queen's University Master's students Jiawen Liu and Shenyu Zheng. Jiawen shared her work on “Understanding Open-Source Contributor Profiles in Popular Machine Learning Libraries.” Immediately following, Shenyu delivered his talk on “The Performance and Hermeticity of Artifact-based Build Technologies.”
