On Thursday, March 26th at 10:00 AM, we heard from two CREATE Master's trainees:

Liam Johnston, MSc candidate from Queen's University, shared his work on LabelMate: An LLM-driven Framework for Refined Issue Report Labeling.

Caren Rizk, MASc student at Concordia University, presented her research titled Bridging Design and Implementation: A Study of Multi-Agent LLM Architectures for Automated Front-End Generation.

Each trainee spoke for 20 minutes, with 10 minutes reserved for Q&A.

The first CREATE SE4AI Trainee Talks of the fall 2024 semester was held on October 16. During this session, Master's candidate Lin Ling presented her research titled "Bias Unveiled: Investigating Social Bias in LLM-Generated Code". Following her presentation, Doctoral candidate Junjie Li shared his study on "An Exploratory Study on Fine-Tuning Large Language Models for Secure Code Generation". Both trainees are under the supervision of Prof. Jinqiu Yang at Concordia University.
