Liam Johnston, MSc candidate from Queen's University will share his work on LabelMate: An LLM-driven Framework for Refined Issue Report Labeling.

Caren Rizk, MASc student at Concordia University will present her research titled Bridging Design and Implementation: A Study of Multi-Agent LLM Architectures for Automated Front-End Generation.

Each trainee will speak for 20 minutes, with 10 minutes reserved for Q&A.

CREATE SE4AI and Applied AI Institute presented a workshop at the 35th IEEE International Conference on Collaborative Advances in Software and Computing (CASCON 2025) on Advancing Gender-Inclusive AI through the GEMinAI Program. Using the Gender Equity Mentoring in AI (GEMinAI) program as a successful use case, the workshop explored best practices and novel approaches to support and promote gender equality in AI. A panel discussion featured experts from industry and academia, and participants had opportunities for networking, rich discussions, and meaningful interactions.
