5 CREATE trainees attended the annual Canadian Celebration of Women in Computing Conference (CAN-CWiC) in Toronto, ON October 20-21, 2023. This annual conference provides career-oriented workshops, student lightning talks, and networking opportunities with other women students of STEM.

Our 3rd annual CREATE SE4AI Program Retreat was held in Kingston, ON on June 9th. 50 students from the 4 partner institutions enjoyed an afternoon of networking, brainstorming, group discussions and research presentations with an inspiring view of the waterfront.
